Axle nut Tightening Machine

Description

Axle nut tightening machine is a high-precision automatic tightening unit designed specifically for axle assembly applications.
Powered by an electric nutrunner with advanced torque and angle control, it ensures stable, accurate, and repeatable tightening of axle nuts.

Main Procedure

1、Install the wheel hub to the axle, manually assemble the tapered roller bearing in place, and insert the inner nut of the axle head into the 1-2 buckle；

2、Align the tightening machine socket with the nut, click the "Start" button to tighten the nut to the target torque, and maintain zero speed for 0.5-1 seconds to eliminate the elastic recovery of the threaded connection.

3、Turn the nut 1/3 to 1/8 turns in reverse (the angle value can be set arbitrarily), and at the same time, turn the shift fork to rotate the hub counterclockwise for 1-2 seconds, in order to stagger the gap of the pressed bearing；

4、Manually place the sliding pad and align it with the pin hole, then insert the locking piece and bring the outer nut of the shaft into 1-2 buckles；

5、Align the tightening machine socket with the nut and click the "Start" button to tighten to the target torque.，

6、Continue to rotate the wheel hub and detect the starting torque of the wheel hub in real time. When the required starting torque is reached (1-15Nm), stop the reverse rotation and maintain the nut position at zero speed；

7、The rotary spindle drives the shift fork to continue to rotate the wheel hub in the opposite direction at a certain speed for 3-5 seconds. When the starting torque has been stable within the required range, it is qualified and exits;

8、For the axles with ABS systems, the ABS voltage signal can be detected at the same time on the basis of passing the starting torque detection; the ABS signal is generally: the maximum effective value of the voltage, the minimum effective value, the ratio of the maximum and minimum voltage (generally ≤2), voltage waveform, ring gear gap, etc.
